Alice + Olivia Sequined Silk Chiffon Nautical Top

Alice + Olivia’s latest batch of clothing to arrive over at net-a-porter screams nautical theme. Are we surprised? No. It’s almost spring.. one of the many trends that reapear every year around the same time, is the spring/summer Nautical Trend. Like a record stuck on repeat.

Which leaves me thinking, it’s time to start stocking up on spring wear. Or at least finding my last years stash of boxed up spring Nautical clothes. Yes, I actually have a box labeled “nautical stuff.”

One of the items that caught my attention, is the designers new Striped Top.

From at a distance, or as it appears on your computer screen, this is a pretty cute top, perfect for any spring occasion. But there’s more to this top than a simple boat-neck, form fitting design and nautical stripes. Upon further examination, I discovered this top is made of 100% silk-chiffon, and the horizontal stripes are made fully of hand sewn black sequins. So chic!
