i love my William Rast Leather Jacket

If you know me, then you know that I have a huge obsession with leather jackets. It’s like I collect them. I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 from the last couple seasons that I am absolutely in love with. The latest piece to make it’s way into my closet is one by Justin Timberlake + BFF Trace Ayala fashion line – William Rast (William: JT’s grandfather’s first name / Rast: TA’s grandfather’s last name).

The soft leather jacket features an off-center zip front with oversized folded collar flaps, peppered with edgy mixed-metal studs. The cropped, fitted style is topped with braided epaulets and finished with zippered cuffs for a hip, modern look.

What I love most about this jacket, which I admit upon purchasing I was a little worried about, is the studs. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE studs, but this jacket combines both gold and silver (thought running through my mind: what bag, jewelry, etc to wear?). And to my amazement, this jacket goes with everything. It’s amazing. When wearing this jacket I tend to stick to wearing basics, nothing too distracting to take from the jackets look. Simple tee and I’m set.
