Three years ago, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen collaborated to create Elizabeth and James. The contemporary line features a wide variety of clothing, shoes, and even jewelry. However, Elizabeth and James is most well known for its menswear-inspired pieces. Think blazers, trousers, and military shirts… all of which having a bit of a masculine edge. But if you take a closer look, you will find that Elizabeth and James offers a nice balance between masculine and feminine. The line includes dresses and floaty tops as well, which serve to compliment the more masculine pieces. Plus many of the shoes from Elizabeth and James feature some killer heels! And you wouldn’t mistake those for something you would find in your boyfriend’s closet!
To get a good idea of what Elizabeth and James is all about, take a look at the outfit I have pictured here. The model is wearing the Shirred-Sleeve Blazer, which features a modern fit and shirring along the back of the sleeves. The model is also wearing the Safari Chambray Laurent Shirt (an easy, oversized button-down) and the Lace-Up Ankle Boots. Pair these items with some leggings and… wow! The model looks so sleek and put together!
