As I was picking up my mail today, I overheard one of my neighbors filled with joy that one of her packages has arrived from NAP. And since that’s one of my favorite online boutiques, I could not just ignore..
Elevator Chat…. me: “so, what’s in the box?”
neighbor: “BALMAIN!!”
me: “whhaaaaa”
Turns out my lucky neighborita recently rewarded herself with a Balmain shopping spree. I was totally jealous.. in the 7 minutes it took for us to reach our floor she ripped into that net-a-porter box (she actually started digging in before getting into the elevator — and I can totally see why!) and pulled out her amazing purchases: the amazing new Balmain Suede Zipper Boots (I almost died!!!! If she wasn’t 2 sizes smaller than me I would have ran away with them.) and the fabulous new for winter Peak-shouldered leather jacket! She just threw the jacket on over her black skinnies and white tank and it was instant glamour.
I’m still a little in awe over this encounter.
