Marc Jacobs Sued and Lost!

Please Marc, say it isn’t so. . .

In the news: Marc Jacobs plagiarized a scarf made by Gosta Olofsson, an entrepreneurial petrol station owner who sold memorabilia until his death in 1982, who made the scarf in the 50′s. His son, Göran Olofsson, a 55-year-old from Arvika in western Sweden has received compensation from the Marc Jacobs fashion house for copying the design.

Look above guys. It’s identical! It’s quite disappointing when we see lower labels copying the designs of higher labels, but when it’s a well-respected fashion house, such as Marc Jacobs, this is quite disappointing news.

umm, shop for MJ @ eluxury
