Madewell Cheetah Pendant

Madewell has been around for a long time. In fact, they have been around since 1937! However, they have never been a designer that I associate with accessories. Not handbags and certainly not jewelry. So when I saw this necklace you see here, I was a bit shocked when I realized it is from Madewell. Meet the Madewell Cheetah Pendant Necklace!

I am drawn to this necklace because it is animal-themed. Yep, my guilty pleasure is animal motifs. And right now, it really doesn’t matter what kind of animal it is either. I think they all have the potential to be cute. But I do happen to like cheetahs. They have a “true” spotted coat and they are the fastest land animal. What’s not to like? Plus I love how this little cheetah is perched on top of a quartz crystal. It is such a unique twist on the animal motif.
