I love anything vintage and in fact I go shopping in vintage stores as much as I can. I even prefer vintage stores to the mall. To me, if you can wear a piece of fashion from years before that’s like a honor. It’s not very often you can find a great piece of vintage fashion in great condition so when I do find something I cherish it!
When I laid my eyes on the WGACA Vintage: Vintage Chanel ’80s Charm Bracelet I was instantly in love. First and foremost, it was Chanel and who doesn’t love a gorgeous Chanel piece? Second, it was the ultimate ladies bracelet having little charms of everything we love. Charms of shoes, purses, and perfume fill the bracelet and the gold has even aged to give it an authentic vintage look. The price scares me a little but when it comes to Chanel, I think we can all agree that it’s worth it.
You can purchase the Vintage Chanel Charm at Shop Bop for $3,300.

I consider myself old school and if a time machine existed I would love to teleport and live in the 20′s or 40′s particularly for the fashion. The fashion of those days was so impeccable, unique, classy and sophisticated. Over the years, I think the style from long ago has been lost. People these days only dress up when the occasion calls for it. Fashionista’s are pretty much the only people that probably get dressed up whenever they go out, I would say that’s how people were back then. Does it make people that don’t want to dress up bad people? Of course not. I just think the idea of true fashion for both men and women has pretty much vanished over the decades.
Every time I see a shoe that could of been from the 20′s or 40′s I scream. I love when designer have the guts to bring back “old school” fashion. The Madewell Canvas “Boardwalk” Brogues is definitely the type of shoe you would of saw people swinging and jiving to.
My only downfall about these is that they aren’t heels! I don’t wear flats at all but if these were made in heels I would be all over them. Just because they are flats though, doesn’t mean I’m not in love with them! Perhaps, if I was taller I’d buy a pair instantly. It’s always fun to channel fashion from our previous times. Gorgeous shoe though, that’s for sure.
You can purchase the Madewell Canvas “Boardwalk” Brogues at Shop Bop for $168.

You would have to be crazy to miss an event like this.

There’s a boutique that I walk past everyday that has a vintage Louis Vuitton monogram trunk resting in the window. It’s in perfect condition. And each day as I walk past the window it amazes me how many window shoppers pause for a moment and visually molest it with their gazes.
Who wouldn’t kill to have a piece of Louis Vuitton history?
The Pullman Gallery in London is offering this rare, recently restored, original Louis Vuitton chocolate Damier checkerboard pattern trunk for a whopping $11,000. The trunk dates back to 1890, which is less than 40 years after Louis Vuitton was founded in Paris.
The price is steep, but for a serious Louis Vuitton collector I’m sure that wouldn’t matter one bit.
If you’re looking for a Louis Vuitton trunk for a deal, check out eBay.

I can’t afford Chanel ready-to-wear just yet, but that sure doesn’t keep me from admiring. Presented by What Goes Around Comes Around Vintage is this Chanel Suit, a well-preserved luxury item from the past. To think that this suit could possibly be older than me and still looks quite modern and presentable is truly impressive. You can’t go wrong with the sleek masculine design of a jacket and skirt with giant gold buttons. What a great addition to own if you’re a Chanel collector, this size 4 two-piece can be found online through: Shopbop

The studded accessories trend is really hot right now, but unfortunately, not everything is going to look so great. I spotted the Lola beaded bag by Antik Batik and I have really strong mixed feelings towards it. I like the cluster of brass hardware on the black leather pouch, but then as you pay attention to the actual hardware pieces, they’re really not so pretty.
From a distance, this resembles a block of rock pathway, and from up-close, tiny jingle bells that you can find at your local craft store.
