I lost my umbrella on the subway in New York City in October 2011 and I have yet to buy a new one. This is actually unfortunate because I currently live in South Florida where it rains pretty much all year long. An umbrella is a must have accessory here and I really need to buy one! I’m a very picky person, especially when it comes to fashion. I have to really truly love something and it has to be super cute in order for me to even consider buying it. One of the cutest umbrellas I’ve seen in quite sometime is the Felix Rey “Singing in the Rain” Umbrella. I’ve always been a fan of see through umbrellas and this one is absolutely adorable! I love the music notes on it and bubble umbrellas have always been a favorite of mine.

It has been raining non-stop in Florida lately. We’ve been flooded, surrounded by gloomy clouds and been drenched in droplets of water. I personally do not like the rain especially when I’m alone. When you live in Florida a fear of Hurricanes or Tropical Storm’s comes to mind and believe me, that’s not a pleasant thought to have.
I was in New York in October 2011, and I left my Coach umbrella in one of the subway carts. I’m sure someone is enjoying my umbrella and I hope it has saved them from getting drenched. I have yet to buy a new umbrella because I hadn’t found a cute one. I’m a girly girl and if I’m going to be carrying something around it has to be cute.

Spring is here in Florida and Summer is right around the corner. In Florida, those two seasons mean lots of rain especially in the Summer. I kid you not, in the Summer in blazing hot Florida, it rains just about everyday. Once it hits the afternoon, it’s as if we await for the storm to appear.
One problem I’ve always had, is that I always lose my umbrella! If I don’t lose it, it either breaks or just gets dirty after a while. I currently have a pink Coach umbrella and it looks like a dirty mess. If only we could put umbrella’s in the washer?
I absolutely adore the Felix Rey “Let The Sun Shine” Umbrella. I’ve always wanted a see through umbrella because I think it’s kind of magical to be able to see the rain fall above you. Very cute umbrella to have if you ask me! Who doesn’t want an umbrella with a big happy face on it? Brings me back to my childhood.

There is nothing I hate more than rain boots. Not because they aren’t the most fashionable but because they have no height to them. I’m short and to be honest I love my heels. I wear heels every single day and there is no doubt in my mind that I will have a back problem in the near future. Pretty bad, but at least I always manage to look fashionable and taller.
In New York, whenever it’s raining you see tons of people all over the city sporting rain boots. They all look the same just with different patterns. This is why I like Hunter Boots “Verbier” Wedge Boots. The wedge gives them some height and they have a lace up detail. Definitely a different take on the everyday rain boot.
I probably will never buy a pair of rain boots but if I had to it would definitely be these. I like that they come in different colors and I think what I love the most is the wedge. More rain boots should feature some height, it gives it a little more style. Overall, I would say they are cute and a much better alternative to the tacky rain boot.
You can purchase the Hunter Boots “Verbier” Wedge Boots with Lace Up Detail at Shop Bop for $175.

I’m a huge fan of designer fashion accessories, but what I’m not a fan of is a designer’s logo repeatedly plastered all over (in this case) my umbrella so I look like a walking advertisement.
The Burberry Classic Check Umbrella is an autumn staple. And what I love about this version is that the designer check logo is hidden underneath, and sorta peeks out. I just love that little hint.

I am SO sick of rain. A seemingly endless stream of storms rolling across the central U.S. this last month has led to some pretty impressive (possibly even record-breaking) precipitation totals. Where I live, normal precipitation for the month of June is something like 3 inches total. However, in some places, more than 15 inches of rain has already fallen. Yikes! Oh well, at least this gives me a reason to buy a new umbrella. And one style in particular has caught my eye. It’s the Felix Rey “Rain Rain Go Away” Clear Bubble Umbrella. I absolutely love this umbrella! The clear bubble style is so hot right now and it seems like celebrities are photographed carrying one all the time! But this clear bubble umbrella is different because it has a touch of whimsy as well! Printed on one side, you will find an adorable doodled heart. On the other side, you will find the words “Rain Rain Go Away” (from the nursery rhyme). So cute! And a great way to brighten up a dark and cloudy day. Plus, buying a new umbrella is a surefire way to bring on some sunny weather!
So… Rain, rain, go away… Come again some other day!

Too bad my neck of the woods gets extremely low inches of rain per year or else investing on a designer umbrella would be a priority. Actually adding a cute umbrella to my accessories collection doesn’t sound like a bad idea. I spotted the Face-print umbrella by French couture brand Lanvin; its design features face illustrations by Israeli designer Alber Elbaz. Black and red printed characters overlap themselves repetitively, forming a cute array that’s sure to catch attention wherever you go. Felix Rey does umbrellas and I’m liking them! Look super cool in the rain with this ultra fun piece. This rainy day accessory features a black and white bulls eye top when open, and a sunny yellow giant heart at the corner. This piece is absolutely adorable and makes me want to toss out my boring blue one. Then again in my neck of the woods, we don’t get much rain.
