When it comes to nylon totes, I admit I’m not the biggest fan of the look. To me a nylon bag is only meant for two occasions – as a travel bag or market tote.
This tote is pretty basic in design as it should be for a travel tote. The body of the bag and handles are made of nylon (super light weight!) and easily fold up for storage in your day bag. Also comes with a wristlet pouch for the tote to be stored in when not in use. I like this tote. It’s simple and in classic jet black. Perfect for an extra travel bag. I always find that I need one when coming back from vacation and my suitcase is 1 or 2 pounds over the limit.

I’m an insomniac. Ever since I was little I’ve always had trouble sleeping. I suppose because I’m a worry and I tend to over-think a lot. Perhaps, it’s true that we can also think in our sleep? I know I can never sleep more than 5 hours a night if I’m lucky and when I have a lot on my mind I can’t sleep period.
What’s even worse is that I can’t sleep when the sun is out. No light can touch my face or be in my room or I can’t sleep. I have blinds but even the slightest bit of sunlight that peeps in keeps me awake. For some reason my body hates sleeping with any amount of light in my room. I need pitch black darkness in order to sleep.
So of course, I have to sleep with a eye mask on. It’s very annoying, but without it I’ll be up at 6 AM or as soon as the sun starts to come up. I actually got my eye mask from an airline! I was flying at night once and it was given to me. I’ve never been able to find a cute eye mask that I like since.
The Mary Green “Sleeping” Eye Mask is adorable and pink! I’ll probably purchase one for myself since the cheap ones the airline gives you just isn’t holding up anymore but it was a starter! This one is so cute and I think for $25 it might be of better quality than one from an airplane. Hopefully with this eye mask my eyes will look just like the ones featured on it! Closed and asleep!
You can purchase the Mary Green “Sleeping” Eye Mask at Shop Bop for $25.

Back to school with Miss Marc, by Marc Jacobs.
Done up in a vintage looking checkered print nylon with the newest Miss Marc edition, a cartoon version of the infamous Vogue Editor, Anna Wintour, with “Alice and Wonderland” -esque characters floating in the background.
What do you guys think? Are you loving it?
Measures 10.5″ height x 15″ length x 1″ depth, which fits most laptops.
And if the little Miss on the cover is a bit much for you, there’s also another version available with just the check background and logo-quilted along the front. It’s called the Pretty Nylon Computer Sleeve and retails for $10 less than the Miss Marc Sleeve.

It’s boating season y’all! And what pair of shoes are you going to sport while running around your boat? Sperry Top Sliders! It’s really a no brainier, these are the “Authentic Original Boat Shoe.”
What’s so special about the Sperry Top-Siders is that they incorporate everything you would look for when shopping for boating shoes: 360° Lacing System, keeps your feet dry with the stain and water resistant shell, the classic boat-chic handsewn moccasin look, rust-proof eyelets, contoured arch support and shock-absorbing EVA heel cup for comfort, and most importantly, not only does the rubber bottom prevent you from falling on your bum, but it’s made with their special no-marking rubber Wave-Siping™ outsole (no black streaks on your friends boat!). And at only $80 it’s a great investment.

An authentic leather Burberry tote for under $600 is rarely heard of, unless it’s a previous season mark down or something. Well amazing news, Burberry has created the ultimate go-to casual summer bag that retails for less than the average Burberry tote.
The Burberry Leather Drawstring Tote features a drawstring-detailed top closure, silver-tone hardware, two top handles, a snap-closure at top, stitch seam detail, designer logo at front and eyelets at sides. Available in metallic opal blue, black and gold.
Find the Burberry Leather Drawstring Tote at Saks Fifth Avenue. Retails for $550.

At first I thought this was a mistake. And that the person in charge with inputting the designer information, mislabeled this bag as Yves Saint Laurent. It just doesn’t look it to me. Then upon further examination (see “YSL” in the lower right corner) I realized that this bag was in fact by Yves Saint Laurent.
Not many authentic designer handbags can be found retailing for under $200. This is sort of a rare find, especially when were talking about iconic fashion house Yves Saint Laurent.
My thoughts: love it. But a little bit too late don’t you think? The safety pin trend was so last season. Although, I don’t think that’s going to stop this fashionista from considering it.
The classic-shaped cotton canvas design features a safety pin and logo print that adorns the front. Also features double top handles which are the perfect length to carry on arm or over the shoulder. 8″ drop. Make note that the mouth of this bag features no closure and the interior is not lined. Bag measures 14.5″ width x 16.5″ height x 1/4″ depth.
I’m think this would make one fabulous eco tote!
The Yves Saint Laurent Canvas Logo Pin Tote can be found at Saks Fifth Avenue where it retails for just under $200.

Shoemaker Giuseppe Zanotti is known by many shoe addicts for his attention grabbing wedges to daytime flats. We met this designer through his first fashion debut when he was under Christian Dior, since then he has consulted for Roberto Cavalli, Missoni and Vera Wang. Then in the early 90′s he broke free and created his own shoe line. Since then he has recently added handbags to the mix. One of the bags from his latest spring collection which caught my eye, the Diamanté Skull.
Giuseppe Zanotti Diamanté skull canvas tote is so military luxe.
Dressed in a dark green canvas with camouflage-backed fringe-trimmed diamanté skull embellishment. This bag also features two brown leather top handles, red stitching, an exposed zip across top with a designer-embossed padlock and key to fasten to side of bag, studded leather straps at bottom, a zipped internal pocket with designer plaque and is fully lined in stone designer-embossed satin-twill.
The Diamante Skull Tote retails for $1,560. Check it out over at net-a-porter.

I can admit, I went a little overboard with the whole leopard animal print trend last season. You should see my closet. I have at least 11 animal print dresses which I picked up last season, for every occasion, from animal print cotton-jersey day dresses by Just Cavalli and Diane von Furstenberg to a silk chiffon leopard print cocktail dress by Valentino. And just when I thought I was getting sick of this trend, out comes Diane von Furstenberg’s new Love Knot Bikini.
grabbing my debit now..
I have to get it. Ever since I planned my vacation getaway next month I have been on the hunt for a few swimsuits, and this one is just plain fabulous. I love the color combination of the print, plus the little acetate decoration is a cute eye catching touch. Plus, hello it’s DvF! I am such an addict when it comes to her clothing and shoe lines. Now it’s time to add a piece of her swimwear to my collection.
Make note: The triangle bikini and bikini brief bottoms are sold separately. Top retails for $98 and bottoms retail for $92.
The Diane von Furstenberg Love Knot Bikini can be purchased at net-a-porter.
