I love sheer drape throw-overs, it’s a spring necessity for me.

My current number 1 pick of the week is this one pictured above by designer Jasmine Di Milo (, with Elizabeth + Ashley’s version trailing close behind. see below)

What I love most about the Sheer Open Drape throw-over is it’s lightweight and perfect for those hot summer nights. Wear it over a pair of skinny jeans and tank or match it with a simple summer dress.

What I least love is the price. I don’t want to sound like a cheap-ey, but the $750 price tag is a little turn-off, especially when there is a similar jacket by E&J.

If you want to achieve the same casual-chic wrap blazer jacket look, but for half the price, check out MKA’s Elizabeth and James Black Minimalist Glossy Wrap Jacket version ($471).

Carrying over the lightweight Polynesian-inspired flower fabric used in her fashion line, which recently hit store shelves, you can now find the identical summer outfit in a mini-me size.

The Fontana is available in 2 color palettes green, blue, turquoise and grey floral print & a pink, yellow, green and white floral print.

Out of all the skull signature designers out there, my favorite is McQ.

Over at Zappos you can find the latest Spring 2009 crystal accented gold tone metal skulls available in tasseled Green, Hot Pink, Black and a Brown with Yellow (not pictured). If you’re more of a silver tone fan there is one Blue tassel version available.

Or if you’re all for the skull keychain, but not for the tassel trend, check out the similar leather-free McQ skull key chain. The difference, besides the obvious fringe-free body, is that this little guy does not have crystal freckles or deep dark pearly eyes (replaced with crystals). Also the price tag is about $100-less than the above.
