In case you haven’t spotted Vera Wang’s S/S 2009 Sunglasses Collection yet, it’s a must! Head on over to the official Vera Wang site and take a look at some of the most modern yet elegant styles up for grab. Oversized sunnies range in squared to circular shape and in mosaic patterns of Italian acetate. What makes these pieces stand out the most is the use of crystal that lines the entire eyewear. Latest pair of sunnies to make their way into my eyewear closet: The Alcamena by Roberto Cavalli!

I ordered a pair last week and while I sit here eagerly waiting for them to arrive, I couldn’t help but do a little post. (check back next week some time for model pics).

What I love about the Alcamena sunglasses is the reptile patterned along the metal arms (a cavalli signature) and the hint of Swarovski crystal accents along the outer frame. I grabbed a pair in Gunmetal, but also available in Gold (pictured above)
