Steven Melter Studded Loafers

Flats are not my friend. I’ve always been into heels and I know I always will be. I’m on the short side so heels add a little bit of height to me. At the moment, I only own one pair of flats and they are by Tory Burch. Pretty much everything Tory Burch designs is fabulous so I couldn’t say no to them. For me to actually like a pair of flats, they have to be drop dead gorgeous or unique looking for me to even consider purchasing them. The Steven “Melter” Studded Loafers are a perfect example of flats that I would totally rock.

Alexander McQueen Slipper Style Loafers

I like flat shoes a lot and I know exactly why. First, I am tall and I don’t like feeling like I’m towering over people. Second, I am typically in agonizing pain after just an hour in high heels. Perhaps it is because I have a high arch and virtually no natural padding on my feet. When it comes to flat shoes, I tend to go for ballerina flats and gladiator sandals. There is this new trend though and it has left me scratching my head. I’m talking about slipper-style loafers and I am still on the fence about them.

Minnie Rose Cashmere Fringe Leg Warmers

Leg warmers have always been a little iffy for me. You really have to do them right, otherwise they look very VERY wrong! The kind of leg warmers I find to be okay, are the ones you use to accessorize your boots. Say you have a tall pair of boots and you want to change up the look a little bit without having to buy a whole new pair of boots. You can get furry leg warmers or sweater knit ones. As long as you coordinate them with the color of your boots, they usually don’t look half bad. When I came across these Minnie Rose Cashmere Fringe Leg Warmers though, I was thinking something looked a little off. Having a sweater knit leg warmer is one thing, having a sweater knit leg warmer with zillions of nubs coming off of it is another! I’m sorry, but the look sort of reminds me of a Muppet. I’m not thinking it is an appropriate look over the top of your boots. Give these bad boys a little hair cut and then we’ll talk! But for those of you who are brave, and perhaps a little funky, this might be the look for you!

Sonoma Lavender Pastel Paisley Spa Booties

If you wear heels all day long like I do, then chances are your feet are tired all the time. I literally wear heels all day long for no apparent reason. Whether I’m going to rehearsal, a meeting, to the store etc., I’m always in heels! Sometimes I do sacrifice and wear a pair that kill my feet just so they will go with a certain outfit and by the end of the day my feet are dead.

I discovered the Sonoma Lavender Paste Paisley Spa Booties and I thought they were a brilliant idea. Face it, most of us can’t get a massage everyday so it’s really cool to see a pair of booties that improve circulation. The color and style may be a little bit much bit these booties are a clever idea and the price is amazing! I’m considering purchasing a pair of these to see if they work! Who doesn’t get achy feet? Just put on some lotion, slip on these babies and your feet may feel that much better! Sounds pretty awesome to me!

You can purchase the Sonoma Lavender Pastel Paisley Spa Booties at Nordstrom for $38! What a steal!

Juicy Couture Sequin Stocking

The Holidays are upon us! Not quite yet, but in a little over a month from now it will be that time of the year again to get out those winter holiday decorations. And this year, rather than hang that raggedy knit stocking that your grandmother made for you back when you were a baby, trade it in for something more dazzling, like the sequin Juicy Couture Limited Edition girly pink sock.

Now what self-described juicaholic wouldn’t want this hanging above their fireplace?

The sparkly stocking retails for $88 at RevolveClothing.

TOMS Charity Shoes One for One Movement

As a college student, it’s no surprise that I saw TOMS on the feet of many of my classmates. When I first laid eyes on them though, I was utterly perplexed. I mean, they aren’t the most attractive shoes I have ever seen. But people don’t wear these shoes because they think they are fashionable. They wear them because they are the most comfortable shoes they have ever worn.

They are soft and cushy. Plus they apparently have a lot of arch support. They may not look like it, but they make excellent walking shoes (perfect for those long treks across campus). But this isn’t even the best part!

TOMS has this really cool charity program, which began when the company was founded in 2006. For each pair of shoes purchased, TOMS donates a pair of shoes to a child in need. And since many children in developing countries grow up without owning a single pair of shoes, you can understand what an important cause this is. I can’t imagine going even an entire day without shoes, can you?

Nordstrom Pompom Fleece Slouch Boot!

A must in my book.

After receiving the last Nordstrom Holiday catalog I rushed to my near by downtown Seattle Nordies and picked up two pairs, in light grey and mocha.

The slippers are boot-style and are made of fuzzy fleece which makes them crazy soft totally warm. The bottom is made with a semi-thick memory foam sole that is beyond comfortable. And did I mention these are totally affordable. Only $24 a pair.

You can wear them high or flop over the top and wear short style.

You must discover how amazing these are..
