Alexander McQueen Violet Purple Skull Scarf

Alexander McQueen scarves are amazing. PERIOD. Sure every now and then the skull scarf trend comes and goes, but I will be a long time fan. I have a few in my collection that I refuse to part with. They’re just classic to me.  I tend to stick with colors that always work for me, like cooler shades – blues and greens. So I was pretty trilled to see that there’s a new shade out – a lovely violet purple. Totally to die for! It reminds me of like a taffy purple. Love it.

Vintage Hermes Soleil de Soie Scarf

Someone recently asked me what is one thing in my bag that can’t leave the house without. And while that answer always changes depending on the season, there is one thing that I can’t leave home without and that’s a scarf.

Yarnz Yellow Albino Butterfly Silk Scarf

Lightweight scarves are a great way to add color or texture to any outfit. They are perfect for Spring, when you don’t need a winter scarf but it still isn’t that warm outside. I am really liking muted tones right now when it comes to these scarves. That’s why I was immediately drawn to the Yarnz Albino Butterfly Scarf!

Alexander McQueen Safety Pin Scarf

I love anything that is black and white or black and cream, so it comes as no surprise that I fell in love with the McQ – Alexander McQueen “Safety Pin” Scarf. It’s not ideal for extreme cold weather conditions but it looks pretty fabulous and not to mention stylish.

When it comes to fashion, for some odd reason, when a designer incorporates safety pins in a stylish manner to their designs I’m always a fan! For instance, in the past year I’ve absolutely loved safety pin earrings especially when they feature crystals on them. I’m not a fan when someone purchases a pack of safety pins from the store and starts making necklaces and bracelets by linking them together. To me, that just seems dangerous! However, I am a fan when a designer creates unique designs with them!

This is the type of scarf I would wear when it’s cool outside. In Florida, it’s very rare that it gets extremely cold but we do see a fair share of slightly cool weather. This scarf matches my wardrobe well and protects my throat. I also love that it’s unique looking! It’s not everyday you see a scarf with safety pins all over it. Great idea McQueen team!

You can purchase the McQ-Alexander McQueen “Safety Pin” Scarf at Shop Bop for $172.

Nirvanna Designs Cold Weather Accessories

As many of you already know, I have a thing for cold weather accessories. They are such a fun way to mix up your winter look without having to buy an entire wardrobe of outerwear. But when I say fun, I mean it in a literal sense.

That’s right, cold weather accessories can be playful and quirky. And in my opinion, is perfectly acceptable when you’re faced with an extra dreary winter day. That’s why I love Nirvanna Designs Cold Weather Accessories! These pieces are so adorable! My favorites are the Crochet Multi Earflap Hat and matching Hand Warmers. And if you’re feeling extra funky, I like the British Mohawk Hat and matching Hand Warmers! All pieces are made from wool yarn and lined with fleece. And by purchasing these items, you are helping support rural craftsmen and women of Nepal. Their products are handmade with love and respect for the environment from materials produced in the Himalayas. Cool!

Nordstrom Musical Keys & Staff Reversible Scarf

Even though I live in Miami, I know it’s cold pretty much all over the nation. I’m going to Vegas in exactly 11 days so I’ve been on the hunt for a fashionable scarf, hat and gloves. Even though I probably wouldn’t purchase it, I fell in love with the “Musical Keys & Staff” Reversible Scarf by Nordstrom.

I probably liked it most because my whole wardrobe is black and white with very little color. Besides it being black and white, I thought the whole concept of the scarf was adorable! It’s definitely not something I haven’t seen before, but the fact of putting a piano on a scarf is brilliant! It’s different and, even though it’s not new, it’s something you don’t see on an every person walking the streets.

The only reason I wouldn’t purchase this scarf is because living in Florida you don’t need a scarf period. If I’m traveling to a cold destination, I want a classic looking fashionable scarf that can go with any outfit I choose to wear. The keys & staff featured on the scarf makes it more of a fun scarf that can be worn during the day or with a casual outfit. I wouldn’t recommend wearing a scarf like this when you have to dress to the 9′s.

Overall, it’s a really cute scarf and if I was living in New York I’d buy it just to have an extra fun scarf to add to my collection!

The Nordstrom Musical Keys & Staff Reversible Scarf can be purchased at Nordstrom for $28! Definitely a great buy!

Alexander McQueen Ice Skull Scarf

There’s a gorgeous new Alexander McQueen scarf just in over at Zappos.

Check it out!

The color is said to be called “Ice/Yellow” however looks more like an Ice and Brown. Which I love! Just the thought of a yellow and icey blue scarf is a bit too spring/summer for me. With the brown mixed in, the two color combination looks just too amazing.

The Ice Skull Scarf, that I’m drawn to, is made of Silk, so of course it’s not meant to keep you warm, but rather to be more of an accessory.

Are you guys loving this new color?
