If there’s two things I love in this world it’s Michael Kors and New York. Michael Kors is one of my favorite designers in the world and New York is my favorite place in the world. In fact, the Michael Kors store located at Rockefeller Center in New York is my Michael Kors favorite location I’ve ever been to. It’s amazing, spacious and carries accessories you can’t find in other Michael Kors stores nationwide.
As a college student, it’s no surprise that I saw TOMS on the feet of many of my classmates. When I first laid eyes on them though, I was utterly perplexed. I mean, they aren’t the most attractive shoes I have ever seen. But people don’t wear these shoes because they think they are fashionable. They wear them because they are the most comfortable shoes they have ever worn.
They are soft and cushy. Plus they apparently have a lot of arch support. They may not look like it, but they make excellent walking shoes (perfect for those long treks across campus). But this isn’t even the best part!
TOMS has this really cool charity program, which began when the company was founded in 2006. For each pair of shoes purchased, TOMS donates a pair of shoes to a child in need. And since many children in developing countries grow up without owning a single pair of shoes, you can understand what an important cause this is. I can’t imagine going even an entire day without shoes, can you?
Discover TOMS Shoes at Nordstrom, where prices start at just $43.95!
An amazing summer statement bracelet by Hermes, and it’s on sale too. Not by so much for it to be considered a “frugal find,” but you’ll save a couple dollars in the process. Maybe to put towards your “handbag fund” – the beige canvas Hermes Mira Tote (a more affordable casual bag by Hermes), which is available at bluefly for $1,013 is my choice!
The Hermes Logo Cuff in Fawn is classic style that would look great when matched with something simple, like a white blouse, light denim shorts or pants, sandals, and maybe even a thin long necklace.
The details of the Hermes Cuff: It’s made from a simple supple grained leather piece with an embossed signature embossed logo. Thickness, the bracelet measures 1 7/8” at widest
The Hermes Fawn Logo Bracelet can be found over at Bluefly for $414. The original price of the bracelet is $460, so it’s only about 10% off retail.
