One of my favorite designers at the moment is Tory Burch. I absolutely love the black leather and gold hardware combination the brand does. About a month ago I bought black leather flats by Tory Burch that featured gold hardware. I’m not one for flats but they are beautiful. Whenever my feet need a break from heels, they have a stylish pair of flats to relax in now.
A great statement ring may be all you need (jewelry-wise) to accessorize your outfit. They are great at grabbing the attention of those around you, so you don’t want to overdue things. Keep the rest of your jewelry to a minimum. But when you see a ring as gorgeous as the Alexis Bittar Crown Ring, would you really feel the need to pile on more jewelry? This is one piece that should be showcased all by itself. Or at the most, complimented with a simple pair of earrings.
As I always mention, I love weird and unique things especially when it comes to fashion. I like when I’m able to purchase and wear something that not many people have. I don’t think it’s amusing to go out and a majority of people are wearing something you have on too. I hate trends, I don’t follow them and I love being different. A lot of people are into these Pandora bracelets and I refuse to wear them. Do I think they’re pretty? Yes, but everyone and their Mother has one. When the trend dies down, that’s when I’ll probably want to buy one. Life is too short. Why be like everyone else, when you were born to stand out. That’s my motto at least.
About two years ago I had an obsession with zippers and safety pins. Anything that was fashion related and featured either one of the metal accessories I wanted it. I had even bought a pair of Michael Kors black patent wedges that had a zipper on the back of them and two pairs of safety pin earrings. I’m not too fond of the trends now but every now and then something strikes my eye that features one of the two.
