People have the different styles of clothes they like to wear. Some people have their “going out” clothes and their “chill” clothes, so to speak. I’m definitely a woman that loves to dress up. I dress up almost everyday and if I’m not made up, then I’m probably sick! My “going out” clothes tend to be made up of dresses and skirts. However, my “chill” clothes is always jeans, a tank top and a blazer. That may sound not like “chill” clothes at all, but I’m pretty extreme. I’m very rarely ever dressed down.

Just yesterday I was searching the internet for a “Peplum” jacket. I can’t get enough of the “Peplum” trend and I think it’s super cute. Whether it’s a dress, jacket, shirt or skirt I love it all. I’m an extreme girly girl and I think everyone can agree with me that the trend is incredibly feminine. I’m currently dying for a “Peplum” but believe it or not they aren’t easy to find! I found a gorgeous one at a reasonable price but I wasn’t a fan of the material. Oh well, one day I’ll find one that is absolutely perfect for me in my price range until then I’ll keep on dreaming!
If I had unlimited funds I would buy the Moschino “Peplum” Jacket in a heartbeat! I know most people feel that some “Peplum” pieces poof out too much. This is definitely one of those pieces that poofs out a lot but I love it! The more it poofs out the better! The whole “Peplum” trend makes ordinary clothes look a little bit more out there and lively. The colors featured on this jacket are lovely and the gold hardware is the perfect finishing touch.

I’m kind of obsessed with a few trends right now, which is shocking because I’m not a trendy person at all. I’m usually the one in the crowd that will do the complete opposite from what everyone else is doing. This doesn’t seem to be the case this year because I’m loving this peplum trend and I can’t get enough of it. It’s girly, cute and 100% feminine. I don’t own any peplum pieces yet but I sure can’t wait to get one. I’m craving to have a peplum jacket and I found the next best thing!

Who can remember their high school days? Do you remember when the male athletes all wore there Varsity jacket as soon as they reached a Varsity team. All the men wanted to be on a Varsity team just so they could wear the jacket. It was like the jacket stated they were in some type of fraternity or had some level of importance. If you were an athlete but didn’t have a Varsity jacket it was as if you weren’t a good athlete. You had to work your way to the top and the jacket was a symbol that you were.

There is nothing I love more than finishing off one of my outfits with a gorgeous blazer. I’m not into jackets or coats but I do have a love for blazers! To me a blazer adds elegance and sophistication to an outfit. They’re classy and look amazing with a pencil skirt or a pair of skinny jeans. I just bought one from Guess? and it’s now one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. I’m telling you, a blazer is a wise investment for a stylish closet especially because they can go with so many different outfits.

Biker jackets are a hot trend at the moment and they are literally everywhere. I love that it’s not just a trend for just guys but designers are also making them for the ladies. One of my favorites is the Alexander McQueen Moto Biker Jacket. I’m not too crazy about the red color but this jacket is edgy and fabulous. I know the zipper detail is pretty common these days but it looks amazing on this jacket. I’ve always loved how most biker jackets zipped to the side. I love being unique and that’s not a feature you see very often.

At the moment, I’m absolutely obsessed with bandage dresses. I just bought my first one and I’m sure by the end of the year by closet will be full of them. Bandage dresses hug your body in all the right places and make your body look incredibly slim. Perhaps the dress kind of acts like Spanx because they are very form fitting. They maybe form fitting but my gosh are they fabulous. Whoever invented the idea of bandage dresses, I thank you and bow to you.

J Brand is known for their modest approach to making jeans. When Jeff Rudes and Susie Crippen decided to join forces, they had one vision in mind: Denim that was free of rips, tears, embellishments, and even back pocket designs. Clean and simple, that’s what the company is all about. Recently though, J Brand has gone on to provide us with more than just jeans. You will now find a few other denim items mixed in there as well, such as denim jackets. But nothing has caught my eye more than their new denim and leather pieces being offered exclusively at ShopBop.com!
