I’m the type of person that I like to have things that are different, out there and unique. I don’t like being another person in the crowd, I like being the weird person in the crowd that sticks out. Needless to say, I’m not like Lady Gaga by any means but I do like things that catch people’s attention. I’m especially like this with Fashion. I never follow trends and I always whatever I want, when I want. However, I’m a tad bit more classic and elegant when it comes to my home. I like simple house décor that’s pretty and cute.

House of Deréon fans listen up – there’s a new collection in the works, for the home!

Beyoncé and Tina Knowles announce today that Beyond Productions has signed a licensing agreement with Arrow Home Fashions to produce a bedding and home furnishings collection under the House of Deréon and Deréon labels.

The bedding collections will include woven jacquard, poly satins and faux silks in a variety of beautiful, chic comforters, sheets, pillows, and quilted coverlets with coordinating standard and euro shams. The collections consist of European inspired prints and colors, bohemian patchwork pieces, metallic threads; shams with diamond quilt stitching and feminine dressmaking details such as pin tucking and alternating flanges mirrors the design aesthetic of the House of Deréon and Deréon apparel lines. Bold colors and delicate details are seen throughout this on trend collection with the coordinating accessory pillows featuring an innovative use of materials like sequins, studs, mirrors and rivets that echo the embellishments often found in the ready-to-wear fashion lines.

The collections will be sold at major department and specialty stores with retail prices ranging from $149.99 – $199.99 for House of Deréon and $49.99 – $99.99 for Deréon.

The other day when I scanning through Vivre (an online mecca for rare and unique home decor), my interest was pinged when I stumbled upon this intriguing chair by designer Suzan Fellman. Definitely for the vintage, chanel lover.. the chair is crafty engineered to the three vintage silk scarves, so make note that the overall dimensions will vary. The chair is low-profile with a pair of 9″ clear as ice Lucite legs, with one leg featuring the designers etched signature. The chairs measure approximately 27″ Depth, 32″height, seat height 12″, seat area approximately 20″ square.

I think this chair is so amazing, just a great conversation piece for any designer addict.
