Jason Wu Floral Print Silk Dress

Floral prints are supposed to be the hot thing this season. They are literally popping up everywhere. There are bright florals, subdued florals, and everything in between. I like floral prints just as much as the next gal, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want something different. I’m really liking the more unusual floral prints, the kind that don’t immediately register as actually being floral. An example of what I’m talking about comes straight from the Jason Wu Runway. Meet the Jason Wu Floral Print Dress in Navy/Coral!

Citizens of Humanity Mandy Jeans

A new trend for Spring 2012 is already surfacing and, boy, is it a doozy! I’m talking about feminine print denim, of course! Designers are taking your favorite denim styles and adding funky prints to them. The look is very retro! But is it something that can be pulled off? I will let you all decide.

Let’s take a closer look at an example of this new trend. Meet the Citizens of Humanity Mandy Floral Roll Up Jeans! They are the same Mandy Roll Up Jeans, they just have a feminine floral print added to them. I do admit, I do like the colors. The pale oranges and greens look really nice on the natural background. It looks really nice on the model, with her black cardigan and shoes. I’m just wondering how practical this would be for real life wear. It certainly isn’t for the timid! I would like to see some more pieces from this trend before casting my vote.

Milly by Michelle Smith Spring 2011 Sketch & Inspiration

I just received these beautiful Milly, by designer Michelle Smith, sketch and floral swatch print from the spring 2011 collection, which will debut on the runway on Wednesday, September 15 at The Stage at Lincoln Center.

Here’s your sneak peek. Are you loving what you see? Just a sketch, but I’m already craving the whole look. That jacket looks gorgeous.

LUSH Sex Bomb Bath Bomb

I probably don’t have to tell you that LUSH makes the best bath bombs! They all smell good! So good, in fact, that my dog tried to chew one up because she thought it smelled like candy. Luckily I was able to get it back from her before she could take any serious chunks out of it. She liked it so much, it’s too bad she doesn’t like taking baths!
Out of all the LUSH bath bombs available, my favorite has got to be the Sex Bomb! A combination of jasmine, clary sage and ylang ylang fragrances — a scent that is sure to put you “in the mood”. This product is also the perfect pick for someone who has never tried a LUSH bath bomb before. So soak in the milky, pink and purple swirls and take in the sexy fragrance. Then emerge from your bath with skin that is touchably soft!

Jennifer Behr Rosette Headband

Big and bold headbands are so hot right now! They can make such great statement pieces, yet they are so unexpected as well. Normally when we think of a statement piece (in terms of accessories anyway), we think of jewelry or a handbag. And since they are so unexpected, adding a big and bold headband is an excellent way to freshen up your look. The key is getting the look right. The last thing you want is a headband that looks too kiddie. That’s why I am in love with the Jennifer Behr Rosette Headband! This gorgeous, silk satin headband is so glamorous and chic. Its vintage-inspired rosette is bold, but not at all gaudy. Pair it with a white blouse and black pencil skirt for the perfect, yet playful, office look. It would also look elegant paired with a black, tea-length dress. What a lovely evening look that would make!

Burberry Twisted multi-strap Sandals

One of the hottest trends right now in the world of our next favorite accessory to the handbag is the nude colored shoe. We’re talking everything nude from wedges, espadrilles, to peep-toed boots, if it’s flesh colored and oh-so natural, we’re giving it a two thumbs up. I’m still in search for that perfect pair of nude toned pumps, and in the process of searching, the House of Burberry impresses me much with their Twisted multi-strap leather sandals. I want these; I just can’t justify spending $650 on a pair of shoes at the moment, as I recently indulged in a Vuitton wallet this past weekend. Back to these sandals, they’re absolutely perfect for many occasions. Pair these up with your casual shorts, dresses, and cargo bottoms for a summery feel, or wear them with your favorite pair of skinny jeans. Twisted straps hug your feet while the zipper back keeps all the attention towards the front of the sandal, with no snaps or buckles to interfere.

Lanvin Suitcase Honeymoon Set

The Lanvin Honeymoon suitcase just popped up over at net-a-porter and I can not stop thinking about it.

Writing it down, this is on my wish list. It’s almost that time of the year when the travel season kicks off and I can’t think of anything more awesome than the all in one Lanvin case.

The Lanvin Honeymoon Set features a classic simple white glazed canvas suitcase, filled with a collection of Lanvin signature multicolored printed accessories. The case itself is designed with rounded corners, silver-tone hardware, clip fastenings, a wooden handle, fuchsia printed lining with designer tag on inner lid and grosgrain self-tie inner straps. Then when popped open reveals a treasure of matching accessories. In the case you’ll find a matching printed cotton tote bag that has grosgrain handles, is fully lined and has inner zip and patch pockets, a small patterned drawstring bag, pompom-embellished raffia flip flops that come in one size and a large printed pareo.

I’m also thinking about  past summer.. dump out the summer wear and this would be the perfect little beauty case for travel.

The Lanvin Suitcase Honeymoon Set is available at Net-a-Porter for $740

Valentino Flower Sandals

Valentino has a hit on their hands, with the forever returning floral design which comes back season after season. On most occasions it’s the handbag collection designed with the feminine chic arrangement. However for the spring season 2010 shoe collection, Valentino is adding sandals into the Floral line.

I think these are gorgeous.

Valentino’s fresh new Flower Sandals are available over at net-a-porter, and retail for just under $700.

side note: Other designers who have their own version – Alexander McQueen (just beyond stunning!) and Alberta Ferretti (in awe!)
