Chelsea Bulte and Anahit Minasyan, the designers behind Ra Creations jewelry, are often inspired by history, ancient symbols, and world culture. Their designs are fun, festive, and a little boho-chic. So I certainly wasn’t surprised to see a Day of the Dead-inspired piece called the Stacey Bracelet pop up. In case you are not familiar with the Day of the Dead, it is a holiday that is celebrated in Mexico and several other countries throughout the world. It is a day for honoring and remembering friends and family members who have died. Skulls are a common theme throughout, there are even candy skulls which are given as gifts! And all of this is exactly what I think of when I look at the Ra Creations Stacey Bracelet! It certainly is cute! I love the look of the skull beads too, they look very cheerful to me for some reason. The turquoise color looks great with the bronze-plated spacer beads. And, of course, the leather tassel adds a nice extra touch. This bracelet would be perfect for a Day of the Dead celebration, although it is a little way off yet. But you know what? I think this bracelet would be cute to everyday as well. Especially if you like skulls!
