Shoes that always have a lot going on, on them always catch my attention. By that I mean either they were made in odd colors or have a different looking design on them. The Rodarte for Opening Ceremony “Print” High Heel Booties instantly caught my eye. By look at them it appears that the print is of pictures and as if you are looking out a window! Kind of peaceful if you ask me!
I suppose these would look grand with jeans. Your outfit would have to be incredibly simple when wearing these because the print on the heel screams attention. I would personally pair these these up a pair of blue or black jeans and a solid color top that matches a color on the shoe. With such a simple outfit, the shoes really have a chance to shine and stand out. They sure would be fun to wear in the Spring or Summer!
Overall, the Rodarte for Opening Ceremony “Print” High Heel Booties are definitely a fun show to add to any collection.

Summer is almost here and that means it is time to go shopping for a new swimsuit! I have done a lot of browsing, but nothing has caught my eye more than the vast array of vintage-inspired styles. From pin-up girl one pieces to beach blanket bingo bikinis, it seems like everyone is getting in on the trend. But out of all the vintage-inspired styles I have seen, nothing has drawn me in more than the Rodarte for Opening Ceremony High Waist Bikini. What I like most about this particular bikini is the simplicity of it. No bows, no ruffles, just clean lines and simple shapes. You have to be careful with high waist styles because too much embellishment can be unflattering. You won’t have that problem with this style! I love the top stitched vertical seams on the bottoms and the gathered bandeau halter top. Plus the Rodarte for Opening Ceremony High Waist Bikini is available in an adorable floral print, which is relatively unique! Most of the time, you just see polka dots or gingham.

When I first saw the Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony “Mary Jo” Platform Booties, I instantly thought of Lady Gaga. Either she knows Chloe Sevigny, Sevigny was inspired by her or this is just her type of shoe style that she likes to design. I think we all can agree though, that if Lady Gaga saw these she would snatch them up in a heart beat. They definitely look like something I’ve seen her in before with all that height and platform!
I will admit, these shoes are cool to look at and maybe fun to wear sometimes. Like with a pair of leggings or skinny jeans. If I were to purchase these though, I know I wouldn’t wear them much. I’m sure they would hurt after a while, and they just have that funky look to them. I would have to be in a daring fashion mood to be able to sport around in these. Weird looking shoe, but I do think they would add some fun to any avid shoe collector!
