I’m an old school kind of gal. I love Frank Sinatra, Audrey Hepburn is one of my idols, I’m obsessed with pencil skirts and I’m dying for a pair of oxfords. While on vacation last summer, my husband and I stopped in Manitou Springs, Colorado. We were headed to the Cave of the Winds, but decided to stop in town for a bit. To our surprise, they had a very large outdoor arcade there. They had new games, old games, and really old games! My favorite, of course, was the original Pac Man game. Astronomy has always fascinated me so I’m sure it comes as no surprise when I say that I always loved the space program. At one point in my life, I dreamed about being an astronaut. I thought it would be so cool to go up to space and see everything we see in the books. Can you imagine seeing the moon, planets and stars in close distance? That would be insane but amazing at the same time.

I love unique looking accessories. To me, when you can find something that it so off the wall and people have never seen it before then I feel like I’ve accomplished something. If people can say, “Oh my gosh, that’s so cool. I’ve never seen that before”, that’s amazing. Why would you want to wear or be like anyone else, when you can be you?
The MM6 Maison Martin Margiela “Knot” Necklace is a prime example of an accessory that I love and would buy in a heart beat. I’ve definitely seen jewelry that is knotted before but never something that just looks like a black tube that’s tied up. It gives no indication that this is a piece of jewelry from far away. It literally looks like someone went to Home Depot, got some black tubing, tied it together and called it a necklace! I love it! Such a great and random piece to have in any fashion collection. Wear it day or night, it’s fabulous!
