I’ve never been a big fan of water. The whole idea of water, boats and sharks are not a pleasant thought to me. I hardly ever go to the beach and I almost never go on boats.
With that said, I’m sure it doesn’t come as a shock when I say that I’ve never been a fan of boat shoes. To me they have always been the tackiest looking shoes ever, and just to wear when going near the water? I always thought men looked tacky in them but I always said women should never wear them. Nothing about them compliments a women.
However, when I took a gander at the Joe’s Jeans “Upbeat” Boat Wedges I was pleasantly surprised. The tacky looking boat shoe had undergone a makeover. Who knew a wedge could make that much of a difference on a shoe. They look much more fabulous and almost make me want to purchase them and take a sail around the beach in Florida.
If any women reading this loves boat shoes, I encourage you to buy these. WHy wear a regular boat shoe when you can purchase one that has a little more style to it? Love them and I’m loving the uplift even more.
The Joe’s Jeans “Upbeat” Boat Wedges can be purchased at Shop Bop for $240.

Although I’m a heel type of gal, I can’t deny a good looking pair of flats. I’ve been eyeing a nice stud encrusted set to pair up with my denims; today, I ran into the Sienna Cap Toe Flats by Joe’s Jeans. I’m a fan of Joe’s denim jeans; I’m just not familiar with their footwear. This pair features various smoke toned crystals and metal cone studs. I don’t doubt that this pair would look great with dark skinny denims, but I’m kind of ‘iffy’ on if the adornment cluster is really as fabulous as it’s intended to be. There is nothing unusual or risk taking about the all black leather piece, so you can bet that you would get your $140 worth, year round. Going back to the encrusted cap toe feature, it does add character to an all black pair of flats, and I would say that it sure does beat a steel-toed shoe.
