I’m an old school kind of gal. I love old school fashion like pencil skirts, Frank Sinatra is my favorite singer and my idol is Audrey Hepburn. If I could live in any era it would either be the 40′s, 50′s or 60′s. The fashion of those eras was impeccable, classy and simply stunning. I even loved how men dressed back in the day and it made me fall in love with fedoras. I’m not sure there is a hat that is more classy than the fedora but it is lovely when I see people where them today. It brings back a little bit of old school fashion to today. I currently own one fedora and it sits proudly on my mannequin in my room.

Hair accessories are a must for me. Primarily because my hair is boring. I may have been Pantene’s First Reality Hair Star in 2010 because my hair is long and straight but that gets old after a while. I do see the struggles my friends and family go through with curly hair but sometimes I wish I could just do something to mine, even a wave! Since my hair is straight as an arrow and literally can’t be styled, I turn to hair accessories and hats to spruce up my look.
The Eugenia Kim “Honey Toyo” Sunhat is a perfect example of something I would buy to style up my hair a bit. I’ve always loved these types of hats and think they are perfect for the Summer, beach or any type of sunny vacation getaway.
I adore Kate Middleton and I think she has impeccable style. When I see this hat, I envision her wearing it to a polo match. It definitely has a classic look to it and I’m loving it! One thing is for sure, it’s perfect for the upcoming Summer months.

The cold weather has arrived all over the nation and it’s time to bring out our fashionable cold weather accessories. One accessory I saw on Shop Bop that caught my eye was the Eugenia Kim “Tara” Turban. I would never think to wear a Turban when it’s cold out, but I like the idea! I mean let’s face it, it’s not everyday we see someone wearing a turban down the street and it can bring some uniqueness to your cold weather wardrobe.
I love wearing hats especially ones that cover my ears. Whenever I’m in the extreme cold, like in New York City, my ears get so cold that sometimes I can’t even feel them! It’s not easy to find a hat, besides a beanie, that covers your ears and I can’t stand ear muffs! Ear muffs make me itch and drive me absolutely crazy. If a turban can keep my ears warm and stop them from turning into ice, I’m all for it! Cute!
You can purchase the Eugenia Kim “Tara” Turban at Shop Bop for $99.

Not long ago, my grandma’s cedar chest made its way into my possession. It came complete with all sorts of “treasures”, including a mink stole. Haha! You should have seen this thing! It looked like a taxidermy disaster! Yuck! So when I stumbled across the Eugenia Kim Foxy Scarf, my mind immediately went to grandma’s stole. Dead animals draped around one’s neck is not exactly what I would consider fashionable. But the Eugenia Kim Fox Scarf is actually, in its own quirky way, kind of cute. Plus this chunky knit scarf is much more animal friendly! I love the cute fox motif, especially his little feet! I also like how this scarf secures around your neck with a hook-and-eye closure. It is very cute for casual wear! My only regret is that this scarf is black/cream. It makes this scarf look a tad bit skunky and I think a brown palette would have looked much better.
