PETA, which owns stock in fashion retailer Coach, has filed a shareholder resolution suit calling on the company to enact a policy to stop acquiring and selling products that are made with fur.
PETA is hoping that Coach will follow the trail set by other designers and fashion companies – such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Comme des Garçons, Calvin Klein, Betsey Johnson, Gap, Nike, Cole Haan, Liz Claiborne, Juicy Couture and Kate Spade who have all vowed to be fur-free.
“Animals who are used for their fur are beaten, drowned, electrocuted, and skinned alive, and by continuing to sell fur, Coach bears responsibility for this cruelty,” says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “With its competitors making the compassionate choice to end fur sales, it’s time for Coach to get off the bench and into the fur-free game.”

It’s no secret that the latest trend to hit the shoe box is the shade of nude in shoes. Numerous shoe brands and designers have released their own interpretation of the natural look this season and one All-American brand that never falls short of keeping up to date with the latest styles is Coach. This is definitely one of my favorite sandal looks by the leather ware specialists. To start off with, the thick overlapping straps of leather aren’t exactly neutral dyed leather, instead, it’s made up of Vachetta leather. With that in mind, would you say these shoes would look even better with time and wear, or would the natural tanning process on these shoes be quite unflattering? Just do note weather conditions for the day, as you definitely want to avoid any down pour with these on. Coach’s Stefanie heels might be a bit high maintenance for most, but they sure are adorable.

I’m liking the colors, the extra chunky chain straps, and the metallic leather trim, but who is the girl and what is she doing? Is she singing, chanting or laughing? Who knows, I guess the brains behind this tote is the only person who can share with us the story of this piece.
It’s fun to look at, but I don’t think I could give into this bag. It’s too loud and somewhat creepy. If you seek to add an attention-grabbing bag to you collection, you can purchase this Coach via the Internet at: Macy’s

Here’s the cutest umbrella I’ve seen in a while, meet the Butterfly Print Folding Umbrella by Coach. Get spring shower ready with this piece sporting a collage of everything feminine and spring. Trinkets, stones, butterflies and pearl strands are just some of the many details on this accessory. The varieties of colors are lovely and would make any solid hued umbrella look boring and lame. What’s your input on this Coach, is this pretty or pretty juvenile instead?
