Every now and then you come across a shoe that is odd looking but yet intriguing. I have never liked the gladiator type of shoe but it did grow on me when it was incorporated on a wedge or high heel. When I saw the Alexander Wang “Aline” Sandals they kind of reminded me of gladiator style shoes but with a modern and edgy twist.
I’m not sure if I could ever rock these shoes but I won’t deny the fact that they are pretty awesome looking. Although, it does make me wonder if they are comfortable or not? Then again who cares I often sacrifice comfort for fashion.
For quite sometime now, I’ve been in love with over sized button down shirts. To me, even though the shirts may look kind of big on a women it still gives a sense of a relaxed but yet classy style. For decades now, women have been known to wear their man’s button down shirts and now it’s become a trend to wear them out. Add some stylish accessories and heels to them and you have got yourself one cute outfit!
As I always state, my closet is full of black and white options. I do have some color in it but not very much. If Stacy London saw my closet, she’d probably yell at me, call me names and then tell me I need to be on “What Not to Wear”. Can’t blame her, I always look classy but I suppose the colors are kind of bland. However, I always like my shoes to match whatever I’m wearing.
The Alexander Wang “Eded” Haircalf Platform Pumps would compliment any outfit I wear. The dalmatian print is fun and it’s not everyday you see a black and white spotted heel. We see leopard, snake and alligator prints but hardly ever anything dalmatian styled.
I consider these to be statement shoes and I most likely wouldn’t wear them everyday due to the “hair”. If I was going to an event, party or out for the evening I would definitely sport these around town. Wearing these on a daily basis would’t be practical, because of the fear of them getting dirty so easily! These pumps are a fun shoe to add to any collection though! That’s for sure!

There is one thing I love about Fall and Winter, and that’s a surplus of boots and booties. I personally think boots should be worn all year long but designers seem to only release a ton of them during these two seasons.
I currently own five pairs of boots and booties and I wear them more than my actual heels. They’re so comfortable and to me, they go with skinny jeans and leggings better than heels.
When I spotted the Alexander Wang “Andi” Woven Platform Booties my mouth dropped. They were edgy, gorgeous and would look fierce with a pair of skinny jeans. They definitely have that futuristic feel to them and Fergie, of the Black Eyed Peas, instantly came to my mind when I saw them. I could totally envision her wearing a pair of booties like this.
My favorite feature on this beauties has to be that the leather kind of looks like shoe laces! Clever and fierce, I’m a huge fan of these!

Most of the heels in my closet are black. Makes sense since a majority of my wardrobe is black and white. However, I do have an appreciation for gorgeous shoes no matter what color they come in. Some of the most beautiful shoes in the world are featured in colors and I’ve learned to deal with that.
The Alexander Wang “Aida” pumps are a beautiful shade of blue and are definitely stunning. The scale texture feature is one of the most unique designs I’ve seen on a shoe in a while and because of that I’m digging it. The “Aida” is also available in black but such a dark color doesn’t give justice to the scales.
The cobalt color of the shoe is pretty but not ideal for Fall or Winter. I’m not one to follow trends and what colors you should and shouldn’t wear during the different seasons but this color just doesn’t seem right for the cooler months. To me, the “Aida” screams Spring and Summer. These are statement shoes and you definitely need the right outfit when wearing these babies.
Nonetheless, I’m a huge fan of the “Aida” and I would love to add them to my collection!

Alexander Wang has made quite the name for himself in the three short years since he launched his first full collection of women’s clothing! The 26 year old designer has since added handbags, shoes, and other accessories to his line. But that’s not all, Alexander Wang also launched a diffusion line earlier this year. Wow! The line is called T by Alexander Wang and it is now available at ShopBop.com. This collection includes everything from T-shirts to dresses to pants… all of which have a comfortable, already slept-in appearance that is perfect for those casual days. He even tossed a few undergarments and cold weather accessories in there! My favorite pieces from this collection, however, are the slouchy knit tops. The Classic Tank with Pocket (pictured) looks lovely paired with a pair of sleek pants and not the least bit overwhelming! Kudos to you, Alexander Wang! You pulled the look off perfectly!

Out of all the new Fall 2010 bags coming out, the Alexander Wang Darcy is on the top of my list. Especially in the fabulous new brown color, referred to as “Luggage”. It’s the perfect shade for Autumn, and come to think of it, it’s one of those colors that wearable pretty much any season of the year. But besides that, the bag itself is pretty spectacular. By newer prodigy fashion designer Alexander Wang, who attended Parsons at the young age of 18 and started his label’s first collection a year later.
The Basics: Darcy is an oversized hobo dressed in a durable pebbled leather and accessorized with Alexander Wang’s signature oversized studs at bottom. Don’t you just love that! Mixed hardware. The design is oversized, measures 15″ height x 15″ length x 4″ depth with a 7″ strap drop.
