Givenchy Micro Nightingale Bag

Givenchy Nightingale
Do you ever regret selling a handbag that you think at the time you’re completely over with? One bag that I regret parting with a couple years ago was the Givenchy Nightingale. The size was perfect for me and I loved the double strap options (perfect for a city girl). Also the color was so perfect for an everyday spring to summer bag. It was a light creamy beige, which is a few shades lighter than this ‘Linen’ color pictured above. So why did I decide to put it up on eBay? It was a magnet for color-transfer! Walking around town for just 30 minutes and the whole side would be tinted blue from my denims. Such a nightmare. Today if I still had that bag I would probably never wear it with jeans but rather pair it with a summer dress or lighter denims.

Tory Burch Stacked Nylon Travel Tote

Tory Burch nylon travel bag
When it comes to nylon totes, I admit I’m not the biggest fan of the look. To me a nylon bag is only meant for two occasions – as a travel bag or market tote.

This tote is pretty basic in design as it should be for a travel tote. The body of the bag and handles are made of nylon (super light weight!) and easily fold up for storage in your day bag. Also comes with a wristlet pouch for the tote to be stored in when not in use. I like this tote. It’s simple and in classic jet black. Perfect for an extra travel bag. I always find that I need one when coming back from vacation and my suitcase is 1 or 2 pounds over the limit.

Batiste Dry Shampoo Review. Tried and True!

Batiste_Dry_Shampoo
Last month while on a girls weekend retreat one of my friends introduced to me dry shampoo. Of course I’ve heard of it before but never picked up a bottle for myself to try. The product she uses and “swears by” is Batiste Dry Shampoo. I tried it, and I fell in love with it! So much so that as soon as I got home I went straight to Ulta and picked up a couple bottles. But just out of curiosity I also grabbed a couple other brands to try out – Tresemme and Nexxus. With the other brands my hair turned out feeling greasy and weighed down, unlike Batiste where my hair ended up feeling lightweight and refreshed.

Kelly Wearstler Shark Tooth Skirt

Black and white fashion will always be a favorite of mine. The colors look incredibly classy but yet sharp together. Not many colors look good combined together but black and white always take the crown. These colors also look amazing on unique fashion pieces. Black and white are show stopping colors that when you put them on pieces that are kind of out there, they get even more attention. A perfect example of this is the Kelly Wearstler Shark Tooth Skirt. This is by far the coolest skirt I’ve seen in a while and I love the futuristic vibe to it. Architectural style clothing always tends to look artsy but yet futuristic and I love it!

Daily Obsession: House of Harlow 1960 Haircalf Stud Kye Flats

Obsessed: House of Harlow 1960 Haircalf Stud Kye Flats

I’m usually not a fan when fashion designers combine many trends into one creation, but these Haircalf Stud Kye Flats are kindof a big deal. I love the combo of leopard-print haircalf and studs. Edgy chic!

Pair it with True Religion Stella Skinny Jeans and this gorgeous House of Harlow 1960 Pyramid Station Necklace.
