Herve Leger is my favorite dress designer in the world. No one else does it quite like the designer. Form fitting dresses are always sexy but the designer brand definitely knows how to make them look beautiful! I’ve been a fan of the short bandage dresses for years and I’ve never seen a gown by Herve Leger until today! The Herve Leger “Keyhole” Bandage Gown is gorgeous and if I could have, this would have been the type of dress I wore to my prom.
I love shoes that feature an ankle strap. I don’t know why but I just think it makes the shoe more cute or sexy looking. It’s cute or sexy but definitely not both. I’m craving to own a pair of black pumps with an ankle strap and I think I just found the perfect pair for me. I’m currently dying over the alice + olivia “Ladea” Mary Jane Pumps. I’m extremely girly, old school and I’ve always loved Mary Jane Pumps. These take the crown out of any Mary Jane Pumps I’ve ever seen all because the bow on the heel. The bow sold me and now I want these!
Who can remember their high school days? Do you remember when the male athletes all wore there Varsity jacket as soon as they reached a Varsity team. All the men wanted to be on a Varsity team just so they could wear the jacket. It was like the jacket stated they were in some type of fraternity or had some level of importance. If you were an athlete but didn’t have a Varsity jacket it was as if you weren’t a good athlete. You had to work your way to the top and the jacket was a symbol that you were.
I consider myself kind of old school. I love old school glamour, mannerisms and most importantly fashion. To me, fashion was more classy and sophisticated back then. People took pride in the way they looked and they were almost always dressed up. I dress up all the time. It doesn’t matter if I’m going to the mall or the grocery store, I’m always dressed up and in heels.
Oxfords are one of my favorite kind of shoes. I don’t wear flats often but I want a pair of oxfords for those days that I don’t feel like wearing heels. Dolce Vita came out with the “Brayden” Oxfords and I’m loving them to pieces! The red compliments the black so well and gives it a striking look. However, if Dolce Vita made these in all black or black.white, I would probably scream!
I love the colors black and white. I have been getting into color lately but I would say a majority of my closet is black and white. I think the colors look very classy and elegant together, so naturally they are two of my favorite colors to wear.
The Boutique 9 “Kya” Pumps are definitely a pair of shoes that would look great in my closet and go great with most of my wardrobe. I do have a pair of MICHAEL by Michael Kors shoes that are cream and black and every time I wear them I get compliments on them. I guess it’s because it’s not often you see shoes that have both colors featured on them.
Right now, I’m in love with anything in the fashion world that’s colorful. I’ve even been using my Louis Vuitton Multicolor collection on a daily basis. Perhaps it’s because I deprived myself of color for three years that now I need to be surrounded it. For three years everything I bought was primarily black and white, now everything I buy is bright, pretty and colorful! I still love black and white, but it’s fun to add some color into your closet every one in a while.
Rebecca Minkoff never ceases to amaze me. She’s definitely one of the best and hottest designers out there right now. Everything she designs makes my mouth drop and the “Diva” Sandals are of no exception. These booties are so fierce looking and the mixture of both colors on this shoe look amazing!
I have a dress by Guess? that is exactly these two colors. When you look at it, it looks like it would be an ugly dress to wear but when you put it on it’s a whole different story. The colors are so electric and really eye catching. I absolutely love my dress so I can imagine how these shoes would look on. I bet the colors really pop on your feet and would look killer with a pair of black skinny jeans.
Where is this year going? I feel like this year has gone by incredibly fast. Summer is nearly over and we are already seeing Fall and Winter fashion pop up everywhere. I’m not a fan of getting older and seeing the time just disappear. However, I am a fan of Fall and Winter fashion primarily because we see more booties and boots in stores. I’m a boot lover and if I didn’t live in such a hot state I’d probably have a closet full of them!
