I’m not sure who I inherited it from, but I have a round booty. I absolutely hate buying jeans because it is so difficult to find a pair that fits. The typical scenario is that dreaded gap at the waist. If the jeans fit around my butt, they are always too big in the waist. Ugh! But this all changed when I tried on my very first pair of Mek jeans! I could not believe how well they fit! They have a high enough rise so that they cover my butt, but not so high that they look like grandma jeans. They fit snuggly around my backside and they don’t gap at the waist. Plus there is the added bonus of the perfectly proportioned, perfectly positioned back pockets. They actually make my butt look smaller! These jeans truly were love at first sight and I have since bought several pairs in several different styles. So if you have some extra padding in your caboose, I definitely urge you to try a pair!

One thing is for certain, I love my gold and I love my black leather especially together. I’m not a fan of jewelry too much, but I do love when there is a mix of black and gold. To me, as I’ve stated many times before, the colors look amazing together and look very flashy.

The Gorjana “Parker” Leather Wrap Bracelet is a gorgeous and fun piece of jewelry to add to any collection. This is definitely the type of piece that I would sport around all day long. It’s casual enough for the daytime, but it’s also flashy enough for the evening.

What I love about the “Parker” is that it looks like rope was linked together and painted gold. We all know it’s not rope but it kind of gives that effect. It’s not really a piece that stands out but it’s insanely gorgeous. It gets an A+ in my book!

Everytime I write about another laptop case, I must remind you all that I still don’t own one and I desperately need one. As I mentioned before, I bought a Mac Book Pro in October and I have yet to buy it a beautiful case to sleep in. It probably secretly hates me and is cold often. I need to change that pronto before I drop my laptop and then I will once again have no computer of my own. Ouch.

I’m now loving the Rebecca Minkoff “Stitch Virginia” Laptop Sleeve. It’s affordable, cute and kind of looks like the inside of my laptop. I’m a huge fan of anything black and white and I love how Mrs. Minkoff incorporated some white into this sleeve. It doesn’t hide the fact that you are carrying a lap top around but it’s definitely one of the cutest designer cases I’ve seen in a while.

Fall and Winter will be here sooner than we know it, and there isn’t anything I love that to prepare with purchasing new boots! I prefer boots over heels any day! Heels are very sexy but boots are so much fun and add some sex appeal to the right kind of outfit. To me, boots look amazing with shorts or leggings, whereas heels look great with a dress or skirt. It depends on the type of outfit, but I definitely love my boots.

The VIKTOR & ROLF “Shearling” Platform Booties remind me of Uggs with a heel on them. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a “furry” looking boot before. The description doesn’t state what material is featured on the shoe but it reminds me of a piece of carpet. They look fabulous and different but what happens when it’s raining or snowing outside? I suppose these boots are only great to wear when it’s cold and the sun is shining! Even though you’re limited on when you can wear them but still stunning!

I love unique looking accessories. To me, when you can find something that it so off the wall and people have never seen it before then I feel like I’ve accomplished something. If people can say, “Oh my gosh, that’s so cool. I’ve never seen that before”, that’s amazing. Why would you want to wear or be like anyone else, when you can be you?

The MM6 Maison Martin Margiela “Knot” Necklace is a prime example of an accessory that I love and would buy in a heart beat. I’ve definitely seen jewelry that is knotted before but never something that just looks like a black tube that’s tied up. It gives no indication that this is a piece of jewelry from far away. It literally looks like someone went to Home Depot, got some black tubing, tied it together and called it a necklace! I love it! Such a great and random piece to have in any fashion collection. Wear it day or night, it’s fabulous!

I have written about handbags with tassels many, many times in my posts for Bag Bliss. It’s true, I love the look of tassels and I think they look great on handbags. But never have I seen a tassel that was a necklace…until now! It’s called the Gorjana Brinkley Tassel Necklace and I think I am in love! It was the bright colors that this lovely necklace comes in that really grabbed my attention. I especially love the Celery and Caribbean Sea you see pictured here! It’s funny how something so simple can bring so much joy. The tassel on this necklace is so simple, with three strips of leather folded over unevenly so that the ends in the back are shorter than those in the front. I love the tiny stud accents too, they add a nice extra touch. The extra long chain sets this piece right in the center of attention, it would look great paired with your favorite white tee!

I love odd and unique jewelry. My favorite saying in the world is, “Life is too short to be another person in the same crowd. Be unique and stick out.” Whenever I see a fashion accessory that is a statement piece, I immediately want it. I love fashion that catches someones eye and they want it.

When I saw the Alkemie Jewelry Delicate “Starfish” Cuff, I was instantly in love. Odd to, because I’m not fond of anything in the ocean probably because I’m allergic but this was gorgeous. It would literally looks like you have a Starfish wrapped around your arm. Very cute for Summer if I must say so myself!

Such a great piece to own if you live in a tropical area, or need a really cute accessory for your upcoming beach occasion. It’s not a piece I would wear all year long but I would say it’s incredibly cute accessory to add to any Summer wardrobe!

I will admit that when I first caught wind of this denim blue fashion trend, I was a bit skeptical. I was having these horrible flash backs of the early 1990s, when light washed denim was all the rage. And the overalls! Oh my gosh, the overalls! Scary, isn’t it? Well, you will find some overalls with this trend (which I am not particularly wild about), along with some light blue denim and chambray pieces that aren’t half bad. Just take a look at the two pieces I have selected here!

The first item is the Wolford & Co. Of Course Blazer in Seven Seas. This long sleeve denim blazer features a notched collar and contrasting elbow patches. The light blue denim looks great paired with other summer fabrics and I love the look of the sleeves rolled to a 3/4 length.

The second item is the Dallin Chase Weekend Denim Matteo Dress in Blue Multi. This adorable little dress features a seamed bodice with contrasting panels and underwire cups. The ruching at the waist and slant pockets give this dress a casual chic look. Neither of these items were what I was expecting to see, which is a very good thing!
