Boutique 9 Commons Sandals

Summer is almost here and it’s always fun to start looking at the fabulous sandals that are out. Summer is when I usually buy the most shoes, because in Florida high heeled sandals are always a must. I’m highly against flip flops so sandals with some heel are the closest I’ll ever get.

The Boutique 9 “Commons” Suede Lace Up Sandals are a perfect example of a stylish but fun Summer shoe with some heel! I love the black and gold combination, to me those colors look so amazing together and really pop together. The fact that they lace up is very different, I’ve seen shoes that lace up before it’s just kind of rare to see it on a sandal.

These sandals would look amazing with a pair of black leggings especially ones that have a little shine to them or even a solid color fitted dress. Something about these shoes scream sexy and spandex to me. Spandex and gorgeous heels sounds like a fashionable plan to me!

You can purchase the Boutique 9 “Commons” Suede Lace Up Sandals at Shop Bop for $160.

Jacquie Aiche Feather Earrings

Jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche believes that all jewelry should be personal and wearable works of art. Her unique designs reflect her equally unique upbringing with an Egyptian father and Native American mother. Whimsical and earthy, her jewelry would add the perfect accent to your boho-chic look. Although I find all of her pieces enchanting, nothing grabbed my attention more than her single earring styles. In particular, I love the Kassidy and Taylor Single Earrings you see pictured here. These super long styles will gracefully dangle from your ear, highlighting a long and sleek neck. I think the feathers are absolutely gorgeous. Light, airy, and oh-so sexy! Plus I find the concept of wearing a single, dramatic earring (as opposed to a matching set) quite intriguing. I don’t know how well I would personally be able to pull this off, but I certainly wouldn’t mind giving it a try! I would recommend keeping other accessories to a minimum though. These pieces make such a dramatic statement all on their own and you wouldn’t want anything to take away from that.

Jacquie Aiche Single Earrings are available at ShopBop.com! Prices range from $77 to $132.

Camilla Skovgaard Birdcage

Camilla Skovgaard always designs the coolest shoes. They’re usually something out of this world and definitely something you’ve never seen before. The “Birdage” Booties are no exception. Although, I’m not sure why they are named the “Birdcage” Booties. When I look at these heels I think of dinosaurs, or something futuristic.

What I love about Skovgaard is that all her shoes have a zig zag sole. I’ve seen other shoes with zig zag soles but this is like Skovgaard’s trademark. It’s kind of awesome because each shoe already had a bit of an edge to it already, which we know I love.

These shoes would look amazing with skinny jeans and would steal the show. They remind me of something we would catch Fergie wearing because they are very edgy and futuristic. I personally like these booties in black, which Shop Bop sells also, but you couldn’t see in the stock image what the shoe really looked like. The “Birdcage” is a unique looking shoe and if you’re looking for something new to wear on your feet that makes a statement, you might want to consider these!

You can purchase the Camilla Skovgaard “Birdcage” Booties at Shop Bop for $598.

Nixon Acetate Watch

I recently watched the “Titanic” and I think every woman out there can’t help but notice the “Heart of the Ocean” in it. I mean, how could you possibly miss it all those jewels that cost so much money and Rose just decide it to throw it in the ocean at the end of the movie. Insane, but thank goodness it’s just a movie right?

Call me crazy, but the Nixon Time Teller “Acetate” watch reminded me of the “Titanic” movie. The watch may not be “The Heart of the Ocean” but the color is pretty close to it and it’s a lot more affordable! I personally am not a huge fan of watches but I can appreciate one that has lots of beauty. For the price, this watch is gorgeous! It’ not everyday you see a watch that resembles the ocean or is blue for that matter! Unfortunately, it doesn’t match my wardrobe or style at all but I won’t deny the fact that it’s a stunning watch that’s definitely worth the price!

You can purchase the Nixon Time Teller “Acetate” Watch at Shop Bop for $150.

Pamela Love Talon Cuff

I love wear anything unique that will catch people’s eye. I’m your typical “Leo”. I hate being like everyone else and I love being different. Anything that’s fashionable and that can be labeled weird, edgy or eccentric it’s so me. It’s no wonder the Pamela Love “Talon” Cuff made me drool. I hate the price but boy do I love this piece of work! It’s literally like featuring art work on your arm.

When can you ever say you saw a cuff that look like a vultures claw? I absolutely love how it’s so life like. It almost looks as if the claw was chopped off of a bird, painted silver and sold as jewelry. Sorry, peta lovers but you know it’s true!

This is a piece of jewelry I would rock anywhere because it would catch anyone’s eye. It’s probably a piece that would make people stare but then think you’re weird so they don’t want to comment to you about it. Always remember though, being different is cool and following trends gets old. Why wear diamonds like every woman when you can wear things like a claw around your arm? Pretty awesome if you ask me.

You can purchase the Pamela Love “Talon” Cuff at Shop Bop for $880. Kind of pricey but this piece is so amazing that it maybe worth every penny.

Charlie Jade Shannon Maxi Dress

Just like clockwork, the maxi dress returns to the fashion line up each and every summer season. So basic, yet its reinventions seem endless as each designer puts forth their own interpretations. From cool and casual to floaty and feminine, this is one piece that will never go out of style! And with so many maxi dresses floating around out there, it’s no wonder I have been obsessing over them lately. However, one piece in particular has really grabbed my attention. It’s the ONE by Charlie Jade Shannon Maxi Dress! Check out those bright colors and fun geometric pattern. I especially love the zig-zagging array of stripes toward the bottom hem. They appear almost psychedelic as they dance across the fabric! The busy bottom is balanced with an empire waist and v-neck front. A little extra special touch can be found on the back, where braided straps make up a chic T-back.

Elizabeth and James Anza Sunglasses

There is no doubt about it, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen absolutely love over-sized sunglasses! That’s why it was no surprise to find this interesting-looking pair in their Elizabeth and James collection, which they created as part of a collaboration in 2007. They are the Elizabeth and James Anza Sunglasses. But it wasn’t just the jumbo size that caught my attention. It was also the crazy hexagonal shape! You definitely don’t see that everyday! But you know what? I sort of like it! Not only is it funky and fun, but it’s unique. The semi-transparent frame gives these sunglasses an edgeless appearance, emphasizing the shape of the lenses even more. Plus the accents at the temples help draw the eye upward, making these sunglasses surprisingly flattering. You won’t have to worry about someone mistaking them for their own pair. Then again, you might have to worry about someone actually “mistaking” them for their own pair on purpose!

House of Harlow Key Ring

I like being different. If most people are going left, I will go right. I’m the same way when it comes to my fashion sense. I hardly ever follow trends and if I really love a trend I will get into it when everyone else is over it. I’ve always felt life is so short so why would you want to be like everyone else? Live for the moment and being unique. Why be a copy of someone else when you can be something totally different by just being you? That’s my philosophy at least.

If I can wear anything fashion that makes a statement and make people say, “I like that” or “I want that” then I feel like I’ve accomplished my unique task. If everyone else had what I wore then no one would ever say that.

When I saw the House of Harlow “1960 Key” Cocktail Ring I was in awe. First, I love anything vintage or that looks vintage. This ring looks like it was found in an old jewelry box and just surfaced after someone found it. Also, it’s not everyday you see a woman wearing a key on her ring. Most women wear diamonds on their fingers, when do you ever see a key? I love it to pieces and if I would be promised that it wouldn’t turn colors or fade I’d buy it in a heartbeat! It maybe different but it sure is cute too!

You can purchase the House of Harlow “1960 Key” Cocktail Ring at Shop Bop for $48.
