Michael Kors Tatum Bootie

I may live in Miami, but I know all around the country Fall has arrived and Winter is vastly approaching. There is no better way to bring in the new season than with a stylish new pair of boots. Cold weather isn’t the best to deal with but it certainly makes fashion a lot more fun. I always look forward for all the new boots that hit the shelves and right now my current favorite is the MICHAEL Michael Kors “Tatum” Bootie.

What caught my eye about this boot was the fact that it looks like a belt was wrapped all around it. Definitely not something I haven’t seen before but in this particular bootie I felt it complimented the heel and overall look of the shoe.

Nine West came out with a boot that was very similar to the “Tatum” last year and I wanted them so bad. Now that Michael Kors made an even better version, I’m raving all about them!

The MICHAEL Michael Kors “Tatum” Bootie can be purchased at Nordstrom in either brown or black for $224.95.

Hunter: from Wellies to Handbags

From World War I soldiers to royal families to today’s fashionistas, Hunter has provided us with rainy-day footwear for over 150 years. Originally created to combat Scotland’s unpredictable weather and rugged terrain, Hunter is committed to durability and performance. But it looks like this designer has decided to branch out a little bit. Yep, the original Wellies designer is now producing a line of handbags!

These classic, equestrian-style pieces are sure to become just as iconic as their footwear cousins. But don’t worry, they aren’t made of rubber. Instead, these structured pieces are made of sturdy leather that is sure to stand the test of time. My two favorite pieces (seen pictured here) are the Ascot Satchel and Adelaide Field Satchel. Both feature crisp, clean lines and simple buckle details. Plus the Ascot Satchel sort of reminds me of Mulberry! I wasn’t kidding when I said they were classic styles!

Discover Hunter handbags at Bloomingdales! Prices range from $395 to $595.

Badgley Mischka Oakes Pump

I first discovered Badgley Mischka quite a few years ago when Carmen Electra and David Navarro had their wedding reality show on MTV. The gown Ms. Electra chose to wear to her wedding was by none other than Badgley Mischka. Ever since then I’ve had a little bit of an obsession with the designer brand.

I’d like to describe Badgley Mischka as one of the classically fashionable brands out there. Everything about the brand exudes elegance. When I spotted the “Oakes” pump I screamed. I absolutely love lace, and although this isn’t exactly lace it’s kind of like a more classic spin-off of it. See through shoes are always so captivating to me, then again you have to have serious pretty feet to pull them off. I suppose that can be a “pro” or “con” to some people.

I’m usually one for black and white. My whole wardrobe is pretty much reflects a black and white classic fashion fest, but I’m infatuated with the “Oakes” in nude! Nude heels have been such a huge fashion trend this year and these are definitely one of my favorites that I’ve seen. Gorgeous, Elegant and Fashionable. These beauties get an A+ in my book!

The Badgley Mischka “Oakes” can be purchased at Nordstrom for $190. Not a bad price for such a unique looking shoe.

Juicy Couture Sequin Stocking

The Holidays are upon us! Not quite yet, but in a little over a month from now it will be that time of the year again to get out those winter holiday decorations. And this year, rather than hang that raggedy knit stocking that your grandmother made for you back when you were a baby, trade it in for something more dazzling, like the sequin Juicy Couture Limited Edition girly pink sock.

Now what self-described juicaholic wouldn’t want this hanging above their fireplace?

The sparkly stocking retails for $88 at RevolveClothing.

Big Buddha Mia

I was browsing Piperlime’s Rachel Zoe Picks today, when I came across the Big Buddha Mia, which is undoubtedly a look-for-less version of the iconic Valentino Rose Satchel. Both bags share the basic satchel cut, and are topped off with the big ol’ rose design. Now I’m not saying that Valentino owns the rights to the rose design, however their rose design has been seen repeatedly throughout their collection of bags and clutches for many seasons now.

The big difference (besides the obvious quality difference, then again this is a look-for-less sighting) is the price tag. The Valentino Rose (leather) Satchel costs around $1,500, while the Big Buddha (plastic) Mia retails for only $85.

Alexander McQueen Ice Skull Scarf

There’s a gorgeous new Alexander McQueen scarf just in over at Zappos.

Check it out!

The color is said to be called “Ice/Yellow” however looks more like an Ice and Brown. Which I love! Just the thought of a yellow and icey blue scarf is a bit too spring/summer for me. With the brown mixed in, the two color combination looks just too amazing.

The Ice Skull Scarf, that I’m drawn to, is made of Silk, so of course it’s not meant to keep you warm, but rather to be more of an accessory.

Are you guys loving this new color?

The Original Hunter Boots

It’s autumn, which means it’s that time of the year again to stock up on rain boots.

My pick is for the original famous Hunter boots in the classic forest green. It was the first in this style, made back in 1956.

What makes Hunter so unique compared to other boot makers is that the watertight, light weight boots last much longer and are made with stronger, more durable materials. Also they just look so simply fabulous.

Shop Hunter Boots at Zappos! They have a huge selection for the whole family.
