DecadesTwo Popup at Kiki de Montparnasse

Decadestwo fans listen to this — a pop-up shop event is set to take place at Kiki de Montparnasse in Soho on March 18-21!

With the fervor of Fashion Week just behind us, NYC fashionistas are primed to shop for spring. Decadestwo, the Hollywood-based luxury consignment boutique, will again bring an enormous edited selection of clothing and accessories pulled from the closets of celebrities, styles and major shoppers, selling the pre-loved items at up to 80% off. The pop-up shop inventory will include items from Chanel, Balenciaga, Prada, Gucci (among others) directly from the closets of Julianne Moore, Selma Blair, Rachel Zoe, Christina Ricci and more!

A new addition to the pop-up schedule, Decadestwo will host their famous one-day shoe extravaganza with prices for Louboutins, Manolos at $150 (or less) on Sunday, March 21. They held this shoe sale at their Los Angeles store last month, and hundreds of women lined up the night before and slept in sleeping bags on the street, waiting to get in!

You would have to be crazy to miss an event like this.

Tory Burch Python-Print Reva Ballet Flats

It’s not really a surprise to me why so many people love Tory Burch flats. They’re a staple for any season. During the dark and dreary months they look great paired with an all black ensemble. Black tights, dress, and jacket and these gorgeous shoes would pop. Also these cuties would look fabulous during the warmer months matched with a summer dress or capris.

The Tory Burch Reva Ballets come in a new Python printed leather, which has a textured look for a new spin on this signature classic style. Each pair comes topped off with the signature Logo detail and features a leather lining, comfortable insole and rubber sole.

Most Tory Burch Ballet Flats retail in the range of $95 for a pair of Jelly Revas to $275 for a pair of studded flats. The Python-Print Reva Ballet Flats retail for $235.

The Tory Burch Python-Print Reva Ballet Flats are available over at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Yves Saint Laurent Canvas Logo Saftey Pin Tote

At first I thought this was a mistake. And that the person in charge with inputting the designer information, mislabeled this bag as Yves Saint Laurent. It just doesn’t look it to me. Then upon further examination (see “YSL” in the lower right corner) I realized that this bag was in fact by Yves Saint Laurent.

Not many authentic designer handbags can be found retailing for under $200. This is sort of a rare find, especially when were talking about iconic fashion house Yves Saint Laurent.

My thoughts: love it. But a little bit too late don’t you think? The safety pin trend was so last season. Although, I don’t think that’s going to stop this fashionista from considering it.

The classic-shaped cotton canvas design features a safety pin and logo print that adorns the front. Also features double top handles which are the perfect length to carry on arm or over the shoulder. 8″ drop. Make note that the mouth of this bag features no closure and the interior is not lined. Bag measures 14.5″ width x 16.5″ height x 1/4″ depth.

I’m think this would make one fabulous eco tote!

The Yves Saint Laurent Canvas Logo Pin Tote can be found at Saks Fifth Avenue where it retails for just under $200.

Isabel Marant Chain-mail Scarf Wrap Necklace

One very bothersome thing is when you spot an accessory that you aren’t exactly sure what it is. I spotted this modern version of a futuristic and armor-like scarf by Isabel Marant, which is pretty cool if you’re looking to add that instant shiny metal to your night look. But when I think of a scarf, warmth and comfort come to mind; I don’t think this Chain-mail wrap will keep you any much warmer than your typical scarf would. So would this be a unique piece of jewelry instead rather than an outerwear garment?

Alice by Temperley Striped Nautical Jersey Dress

I just can not get the nautical trend out of my head. The trend is everywhere – magazines, fellow fashion blogs, department store windows – just everywhere. It’s one of those trends that come March of every year, you can guarantee everyone and their mom will be walking down the street in.

One of the latest pieces that caught my eye is the gorgeous Striped Nautical Jersey dress by Alice by Temperley. The navy and white striped jersey dress features a wide scoop neck, long sleeves, horizontal stripes, ties with gold toggles at the side to create ruching and simply slips on.

The Alice by Temperley Striped Nautical Jersey dress is available over at Net-a-Porter.

Christian Louboutin Corazon Covered Espadrille Wedges

Not surprised whatsoever that these beauties are a best seller over at Saks Fifth Avenue. The Christian Louboutin Corazon Covered Espadrille Wedges are exactly what the doctor ordered for the spring / summer season. The wedge style is classic, one that comes back season-after-season around this time. They go great matched with anything – pair of simple cut-offs, summer dress, pool side chic, etc.

The Christian Louboutin Corazon Covered Espadrille Wedges are available in two colors. Natural and Navy. The natural shade is more like a beige and is almost the identical color of the wedge itself. The navy in my opinion is the most spectacular of the two.

The Corazon’s feature a wedge heel that measures 3.5″, a peep toe design, leather lining and even comes finished off with the signature Christian Louboutin red leather sole. Retail just under $500.

Find the Christian Louboutin Corazon Espadrille Wedges at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Emilio Pucci Eagle Tank Dress

Is the design team over at Emilio Pucci trying to veer themselves away from their signature psychedelic prints? It appears so with their latest spring collection, and the introduction of the Eagle Tank Dress.

I think this is a pretty rad dress, but I’m not really one for change. I love Pucci for the signature prints. Plus for how much this dress retails for, I would rather get a $30 look-for-less version from over at Urban Outfitters.

The urban chic dress is made in an olive cotton-jersey with black lace eagle appliqué on front. The dress also features a scoop neck in the front and a low racer back.

The Eagle dress is available over at net-a-porter, and retails for (get ready for this) $750.

Giuseppe Zanotti Diamanté skull canvas tote

Shoemaker Giuseppe Zanotti is known by many shoe addicts for his attention grabbing wedges to daytime flats. We met this designer through his first fashion debut when he was under Christian Dior, since then he has consulted for Roberto Cavalli, Missoni and Vera Wang. Then in the early 90′s he broke free and created his own shoe line. Since then he has recently added handbags to the mix. One of the bags from his latest spring collection which caught my eye, the Diamanté Skull.

Giuseppe Zanotti Diamanté skull canvas tote is so military luxe.

Dressed in a dark green canvas with camouflage-backed fringe-trimmed diamanté skull embellishment. This bag also features two brown leather top handles, red stitching, an exposed zip across top with a designer-embossed padlock and key to fasten to side of bag, studded leather straps at bottom, a zipped internal pocket with designer plaque and is fully lined in stone designer-embossed satin-twill.

The Diamante Skull Tote retails for $1,560. Check it out over at net-a-porter.
